Wayne Pinel is a graduate of Sutherland Chan College in Toronto, and has been in the Massage Therapy field for over 30 years. He has been a sports medicine council board member, president of eastern canadian chapter of canadian sports massage association, massage therapist for many olympic and professional teams and athletes as well as the national ballet. Wayne has worked for the University Of Toronto, the St. Mary's Sports Medicine Clinic and the Kirksville Osteopathic College High Performance Centre, where he performed a 3 years practicum.

Wayne has run & competed in races across all distance categories, including Ultra Marathons up to 200km in length. In the past, he also competed in cross country skiing at a very high level. He and his wife, Sophie, both enjoy indoor and outdoor fitness and have tailored their YouTube channel, Healthy Body by Sophie, to meet the needs of all ability levels. They have applied their decades of clinical knowledge and athletic experience, along with cutting-edge sports science, to provide content that ranges from functional fitness for everyone to higher level performance optimization.
